Our Curriculum Includes:
Financial Literacy: Students learn the foundations of budgeting, saving, credit management, and long-term financial planning, investing, homeownership, borrowing basics, Banking 101….
Entrepreneurship: We teach the essential steps to start and run a business, including business planning, marketing, and innovation.
Career Development: Students gain exposure to different career opportunities, access to mock interviews and resume building.

A recent Forbes survey found a sobering reality: across generations, nearly 28% of Americans have less than $1,000 saved altogether. This means a significant number lack a safety net for emergencies. It's clear financial knowledge is key! At Avance Latino, we're dedicated to changing that. The Urban Institute reports a troubling trend: the wealth gap between homeowners and renters is wider than ever before. This means renters are struggling to build wealth, putting them further behind financially. One factor contributing to this gap is a lack of financial literacy. Many renters may not be aware of how to save effectively, invest their money, or build wealth through homeownership.
