Rev. Frank Jackson, Jr. is the Chairman and CEO of Village Solutions Foundation (VSF), a faith-based community development corporation in Irvine, CA. He is also a Community Initiatives Affiliate at the University of Southern California’s Center for Religion and Civic Culture/Cecil Murray Center for Community Engagement, and a graduate of the 2007 Passing The Mantel Program. He has over 30 years of experience in corporate governance, compliance, technical assistance, and community initiative strategic planning.

In 2019, VSF launched the E-Smart/E-Stewardship Pathway 2045 Initiative, which aims to help faith-based and community-based organizations achieve carbon neutrality and environmental justice by 2045. The initiative provides training and support in 501(c),(3) compliance and governance, energy education, and clean energy career opportunities. Rev. Jackson currently serves on Southern California Edison’s Clean Energy Access Working Group Committee, and in 2022, he completed the Energy Innovation and Emerging Technologies Program at Stanford University’s Center for Professional Development, School of Engineering. He is the recipient of the 2023 California Energy Commission’s Clean Energy Hall of Fame Champion Award, and 2024 Southern California Edison's Clean Energy Champion Award.

Rev. Jackson is also the Chair of the Council of Presidents at New Mount Pleasant Missionary Baptist Church of Inglewood, CA, where he has served for 28 years. He is married to Anita Jackson, President, and co-founder of VSF. They have two children, Carla and Bianca, and two grandchildren, Sophia and Jackson.
